FAR Overhaul Updates for Parts 16 and 52 - Implementation of E.O. 14402, Promoting Efficiency, Accountability, and Performance in Federal Contracting
On July 1, 2026, the Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council published guidance and updated the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) to implement Executive Order 14402, Promoting Efficiency, Accountability, and Performance in Federal Contracting, published on April 30, 2026.
The updates were reflected in the following RFO parts:
The Practitioner Album for RFO Part 16 has been updated accordingly, to include a link to a curated Fixed-Price Contracts Training Playlist developed by WarU and FAI and available in Cornerstone-On-Demand, to help federal acquisition and contracting professionals implement E.O. 14402. Training assets will continue to be added.
